I wish you, your families, and your homes to remain undamaged.
May we weather this weather with no more casualties. And, if you pray, send energy, or just stay mindful sometimes-- do this for the homeless in our cities: Washington D.C, Baltimore, New York, New Haven, Bridgeport--so many; and all along the Maryland, Delaware, and Jersey shores, and along the shoreline cities on Long Island Sound.
I' sixty and have not seen anything like this up here. I am safe. I'm in a big apartment complex with fantastic landlords. My electricity and phones will go. SO WHAT? I will have a friend here and we'll be fine. Others need the focus.
Take care, one and all!

Just be safe!!! So much anxiety revolving around this storm, even here. I was away for the weekend where there was no media and was so shocked once I returned home with the severity of what is coming. Be well, Lois.
Thanks, Lois. I'm not in danger. I will probably lose electricity, but my apartment is in a very safe place. It's others I worry for...
Thanks so much! I worry about the wild animals. I hope they find a safe place to roost.

Excellent point, Author. I was thinking about the birds as I saw a picture on the shore of my state, where a gull was standing, as if it were confused, and a shutter flew across the place where it was standing. I wondered what they do and where they find shelter...
ohmy))) i've not one complaint. i hold my breath for everyone else. (and yes, the animals too - how frightened they must be.) i've been thinking of you lately, hoping you are well. i should catch up:)))
be well

Hear, hear! May all be safe.
I have been worrying about the homeless in cities/villages/communities being visited by Sandie. You are the only person I have heard mention them.
Thank you for being you.
And so many good wishes go to everyone in Sandie's way.
