May this holiday season...

give you all a sense of what matters most to you in this life...

give you some joy--that balanced place where there is an awareness of what is not right with the world, but which lets you feel the wonder of what IS right.

offer you love, both in the receiving of it as well as the giving, in whatever way YOU choose to observe or NOT observe the holidays of this season.

let you know that who each of you may be as an individual in your own right is appreciated and cherished--not for what you have done for people or bring to them in the form of gifts, so much as simply because you are who you are walking and breathing in this world.

And to those with whom there has been friction in my life, if you still read this blog, please know that I don't much care about that friction. I don't much care about our mistakes. I care that you know you are loved and appreciated for all that you are. The flipside of our strengths often hold our weaknesses, mine included.

... for some it is far too soon for healing. May you know in Newtown and the Connecticut and New Jersey and New York shorlines, that you are in myriad hearts this year, and you will continue to be for a very long time to come.

Thank you to all for your support and your wit and your humor and your own blogs.

I have finally got here, days after I meant to.
I so hope that your own Christmas was full of love and magic and that you are completely over the lurgy which laid you low.

Hi - Hope you had a lovely Christmas. The events of the last few months were hard for us all to handle that is for sure. I was with my folks as they settled into their new home. It gave me a great sense of peace and joy to be able to be there with them and for them. I hope you have a great 2013
